Estimate proceedings:
• When we received a loose Unit or a commercial vehicle on our premises, a job card will be opened
immediately and a job number will be allocated. A photo of the Unit or commercial vehicle will be
taken to allocate to job number/card.
• Photos will be taken immediately of the Unit to see what the front cover, pipes, clutch forks, ECT.
Or damages there are.
• From here the Unit will go to the Strip bay, where the Unit will be stripped. The stripped Unit will
then be replaced on a special trolley to go to the Assessment room, where the Technician will
inspect all the faulty parts.
• These faulty parts will be marked clearly and photos will be taken.
• A full report will be taken of the faulty Unit and/or parts.
• After the report and inspection of Unit, a tag will be written out with the job number and the
specific company details, which will be placed on the Unit.
• An ESTIMATE will be sent to the Client/Customer with full reports and photos.
• This Unit will be sorted in the Assessment room until a “GO AHEAD/ ORDER NUMBER” from the
client has been received.
• All parts which are needed will be pulled and the Technician will assemble.
• After assembling, the Unit will be tested manually and will be inspected by the Workshop Foreman
or Workshop Manager.
